I just returned from a cross-county trip in my car and kept thinking how I should be doing this on a scooter. I saw lots of motorcycles riding the highways and byways but not a single scooter. So I vowed to get a good, reliable Vespa when I returned home.
Last week, I traded in my aging 1973 ET3 2-stroke 50cc Vespa for a brand new 2009 GTS 250 Vespa. I plan to do a lot of traveling and birding on this new machine.
